## Requires a Bachelor's degree. Work experience with the primary focus in youth/adult care, supervision, and intervention may substitute for the education requirement on a year for year basis. Must successfully complete an interview, standard background, criminal record check and job function test.

Summary of Work
## Provide direct supervision of juveniles at a co-educational juvenile correctional facility. This includes daily living activities, counseling, role-modeling, teaching adolescent development skills, discipline actions, crisis intervention and accurate documentation of activities and incidents. Function as a member of treatment teams to identify needs and develop rehabilitation plans for assigned juveniles. Perform security duties such as inspections, contraband searches, juvenile counts surveillance, and transport juveniles in emergency situations. Identify and insure that building maintenance needs are met during assigned shift.
